Do you allow walk-ins?

No, all workshops must reserved in advance, unless stated otherwise. This is required so we can ensure we have enough materials for each attendee.

The workshop I want to attend is full, do you have a waitlist?

Yes! Email us at hello@openspacetewks.com and ask to be added to our waitlist for the particular workshop you'd like to attend. We will contact the waitlist in the order they were received.

What is the workshop size?

In short, it varies based on the project. Our workshop space can hold up to 20 attendees. Most workshops are usually about 12 attendees.

Do you offer private group workshops?

Most definitely! We can host any workshop as a private event. Please call or email us and we can discuss the details. To have a private workshop you must have a group no less than 8.

Can attendees share a project?

Unfortunately not, unless it is a "couples" project. Each person who would like to work on the project must purchase a ticket.

Can I bring someone to the workshop who doesn't have a ticket?

No, only attendees who purchased a ticket may be in the workshop area during the event.

Are smocks or aprons provided?

Yes, we have aprons for workshop attendees to wear. However, you may bring your own or wear some sort of clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Some workshops we host may involve glue, paint, dye, glitter, resin and things of the like. Open Space, LLC is not responsible for damage to clothing.

What is the duration of a workshop?

This questions has no definite answer. One thing we can say is that we try to keep workshops in the two hour range but each workshop time will vary.

When should I arrive?

All workshops will get started right on time. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to get settled in.

Can we bring a beverage?

Beer and wine are permitted, no hard liquor, at 21+ workshops. Please refer to our BYOB policy. Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed at all of our workshops. We do not have a space to store drinks so if would like to bring extra drinks, you will need a cooler and supplies of your own.

Can we bring food or snacks?

Definitely! However, you will need to bring all of your own supplies and do all of your own serving. Our staff and instructors are not permitted to touch your food items. If you have a food allergy, please let us know when purchasing your seat so we may exclude certain food items from the workshop.

Can I take pictures?

Yes, of yourself and your project. However if another attendee wishes to not be in any photos, please respect their wishes. If for some reason photography would not be allowed during a particular class, the staff or instructor will advise.

What is parking like?

The plaza where our shop/studio is has a parking lot. We do ask that if a class is during business hours that you park on the side of the building or in the parallel to allow for our and other businesses customers to park in front. Please do not park on the side street at any time.
